Job Title: HCM Training Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid Some in-office days required)
Schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
Short Description:
Seeking an experienced Human Capital Management (HCM) Training Specialist to support state agencies in implementing talent solutions, talent acquisition support, and performance management programs.
General Description:
The HCM Training Specialist will play a key role in delivering training, consultation, analysis, and technical expertise related to talent acquisition and performance management initiatives. This role requires a dynamic, data-driven, and detail-oriented individual who can develop and deliver training, support system implementation, and optimize HR processes using Workday (GA@WORK).
Responsibilities:
Deliver training and create content related to the State's human resources information system, Workday (GA@WORK).
Provide training and resources to agency recruiters on talent pool optimization, internship program development, interviewing, hiring best practices, and Workday recruiting process optimization.
Research training best practices to improve programs continuously.
Analyze GA@WORK-related data and create reports and presentations.
Maintain and update training course materials, exercises, handouts, and exams to reflect best practices, policy/process/system changes, and feedback.
Conduct instructor-led training both virtually and in-person for state entity staff.
Utilize training environments and tools to facilitate learning activities.
Support maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS), including enrollment requests and administrative activities.
Respond to inquiries from stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Experience delivering training through multiple methods (in-person, online, virtual, multimedia, etc.).
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational and program management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Strong aptitude for learning and using technology for training design and data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Willingness to travel as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job-related HR experience; OR
One (1) year of experience at the HR Spec 2 level (or equivalent position).
Equivalent combinations of education, experience, training, or certifications may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Optimization (Management), or other Workday modules within an HR department as an administrator or trainer.
HRIS systems training experience.
